1. There will be HUGE expansions for the game every 2 - 3 months. They are using this model to avoid a subscription fee.

2. The Dark Below , the first expansion, will be out by December of this year.

3. The reason the first set is called the Expansion Pass and not Season Pass is because there will be many more expansions to the game.

4. The expansions are huge. For perspective each expansion is larger than 2 or more of the Borderlands 2 expansions

What happens if you keep playing the vanilla game without the expansions?

Dont have that info other than I was told that the game really is designed with the expanded content in mind. The expansions for this game will hit often and they will be very large so you would be missing a ton of content.

So, does the $30 expansion pass cover all expansions or just a set?

So, 500 dollars for the full game 3 years from now?

I will always support quality expansions of satisfying quality. This game will be a huge success, and if they continue with great support as announced now, it will keep me entertained for a long time.

I can understand that; but what I'm worried about is that if you don't have them downloaded, you can't play the game.

Bear in mind that this game has connectivity in mind.
