It's already selling at a profit.

People desperately need to separate "I hate the Wii U' and "the Wii U has failed."

...Not replying to that, your post is useless

So you are sad that the "failure" of the WiiU will have a negative effect on Nintendo´s future console output......but don´t want to support them in the near future anyway

Ok !

Edit: Not to mention that you didn´t even specify WHY you don´t like the WiiU....you know....like the title implied.

And I love how arrogant the "Coward with no opinion" option in the poll makes you look. That was unnecessary.

Why would I support a failure? A failure of which I described the flaws right in the intro: the concept, the hardware and the product.

There's a flaw in your poll. You didn't account for the current owners of a Wii U.

Not counted, I'm only talking about people who DO NOT have a Wii U yet, whether they like it and plan to buy it, or not.

Mhm but I had to vote coward for that reason haha

Anyhow I like the Wii U and waited to buy it due to not knowing much about it and needing to save money, now I have it and now there's more reasons than ever to be getting one in the next year (a great backlog of games etc.)

you make some fair points in your first post

I really hope the gaming industry doesn't decay or whatever as you say, I think that goes without saying but naturally I want more good games and if the companies making them aren't doing as well financially then I can say goodbye to those... and maybe games will appear in some other form like idk, more PC or mobile games but I tend to not enjoy those as much for whatever reasons (not as good quality, not as convenient, not as unique, whatever).

I have yet to hear your reasons why you consider the WiiU a failure. Don´t give me sales as an agrument, those are borderline irrelevant when you are trying to name factors why or why you don´t enjoy something/ are interested in something.

And "concept, hardware and product" ? Could you be any more nebulous ? We are talking about videogame consoles here. You know....the things that have videogames as their number one priorty...like the GameCube had.

I dont understand how a console can be bad but have good games. To me the quality of the games, especially exclusives are what determines the quality of the console itself.

I buy a console to play games.

I dont buy games to play console.

I like it but won't buy it because I only buy one console per generation, and that's been Playstation for the 3 generations that I've bought consoles.

Thats precisely what I´m getting at.

As long as there aren´t any major hardware oversights(like...say... If the GamePad had only one analogue stick and only two buttons  or the console was only able to output 480p....again) the games are the deciding factor and determine how good a videogame console is.

But thats a novel idea for some...I suppose.

You replied to me just to tell me specifically that you wouldn't. The internet is a curious place lol.

I think people being unable to separate things they like/hate from things they think are good/bad is very significant and the source of day too many pointless arguments, honestly.

Not expecting a reply (I really don't care either way) but I feel that needs to be said more often.

Wii U is an awesome console A lot of people who don't know much about it or haven't played it, just like to jump on the internet hate train. Although the marketing in its 1st year was horrible, I don't think you can technically call it a fail until the end of its life cycle.

Agreed. Few people confess to the former, but everyone has to acknowledge the latter.
