Erm like I said earlier the place that I preorder games from had a physical copy up for preorder a few weeks ago. Seems like it was already planned and retailers already knew. Would also explain why Sony could announce it straight away, it was already planned, not a change brought about by a petition.

Hi Blob, yes it was announced as DIGITAL ONLY in Europe... You probably bought the American Version of the game!

SONY just said they heard the fans and I'll QUOTE: "As many of you are aware, earlier this month we announced that Japan Studio’s forthcoming action RPG Freedom Wars would be a digital-only release when it arrives here in the SCEE region later this year. Since then you’ve let us know here on PlayStation Blog, on forums and on social media that you really wanted to see a full title card release for the game. And we’ve been listening. Duly, today I’m happy to confirm that Freedom Wars will now be made available as a full physical edition as well as a digital release, from day one."

This had already happened with Gravity Rush release,it was announced as Digital Only for Europe, but after petitions we got the Physical box :D

Now we need to make them release ORESHIKA TAINTED BLOODLINES on retail! (what's so hard on that? XSeed and NIS are always bringing boxed niche titles, Conception II was release with collectors edition!)

Also Ratchet and Clank Collection on america's retail (sorry but I hate the EURO boxarts for HD Collections!)

AND MOSTLY: Soul Sacrifice Delta retail release for the holidays 2014!
