So, for anyone that wants to double dip this is honestly a pretty good deal, even if Gamestop is at the end going to try and sell the TLOU copies for more than $25.


Well they dont buy in the games for 60$ each though. So they have a pretty good profit margin.

As long as the remastered version doesn't cost more at Gamestop as in other stores it's a good deal for both sides.

You get more for it from Gamestop as you would get on ebay so there is nothing to complain about and Gamestop will sell the remastered version to many people who will only buy the remastered version because of this deal or who would have sold the PS3 version on ebay to buy the remastered version anywhere else so that they will make nice money with it as well.

There are lots of haters out there complaining that lots of PS games sale numbers are from bundles. Well, I wonder if people are going to complain if lots of people trade in their PS3 version to get $25 off the PS4 remastered version, and this would somewhat inflate 1st week sales.

As the trade-in, I think this is good value. You're not going to be able to sell PS3 TLOU more than $25 (except for suckers on Ebay) because you can get this at Amazon for $30. My guess is that PS3 version will drop in price more when the PS4 version comes out.

i don't trade in games.

The point I am making I hope they seperate the upgrades vs the real genuine sales when they see what kind of impact the remastered game had. I don't want this gen turning into a remastered game gen without much original content.

i don't trade in games.

The point I am making I hope they seperate the upgrades vs the real genuine sales when they see what kind of impact the remastered game had. I don't want this gen turning into a remastered game gen without much original content. 


How are they going to separate the sales exactly...?

I pre-ordered PS4 The Last of Us while trading in PS3 The Last of Us and I think I got more than $25 for it at the time. Like closer to $30. Still a good deal for anybody that doesn't have the Left Behind $15 DLC and is looking for the PS4 upgrade.
