1,5 million on XBOX 360

800,000 on Wii U

500,000 on PC retail, and between 2-2,5 million with digital

Assassin's Creed Unity will sell less of 5 million.

Yes, i think even little less of triple... this is my prediction.

In the best scenario, for me, Assassin's Creed Unity will sell 1/2 of Watch_Dogs.

Maybe Assassin's Creed Unity have sould sell even 8-9 million if coming out on old gen and WiiU... but only on PS4, XOne, and PC, no.

This is my prediction, Watch_Dogs is the new Assassin's Creed, I may be wrong, but for now this is my prediction.

ill give u credit for 10 - 12 million units watchdogs, but not 12 - 14.
right now, we're at 8 million shipped. dont think this game will have monster legs. watchdogs ist dropping hard

summer and holiday blockbuster will come out and drown the thrist for games

i have now idea about the sales. but 5 -6 million seems to low. especially ur 1.2m xbox one figure. black flag is at 0.8m without digital

Having no last gen should make it sell less than AC4. Also no prates.

Good ratings could help it though to keep up.

Watch Dogs only sells as much as it has due to it launching at the beginning of a console cycle + hype of a new unknown game. It has sold far past what it will sell in future iterations. People know what they are getting with AC cause it is an established franchise and will sell less than a hyped new franchise. I think in the end both will sell at similar levels (5-8 million) as the gen goes on. I do agree with the OP that WD will outsell AC this year.

I believe that Watch Dogs doubling the sales of Unity seems like a reasonable prediction (Tripling it's sales seems a little too much, imo) given the fact that WD is available on 3 other platforms (2 of which have a significantly larger user base). I also believe that AC is going to further decline as we saw in the significant drops from AC3 - AC4.

I think the freshness of Black Flag will have helped keep AC from falling and now it's next-gen only it may help the next-gen sales.

But the one concern is the affect of Watch_Dogs. Basically, it wasn't as good as we're hoping for, so there may be a decent amount of scepticism around their next big game.

But the lack of a last-gen version will mean that Watch_Dogs will sell more, but I reckon 2:1 at most
