But a DKR for WiiU from Monster and Retro launching around November 2015 doesn't sound far fetched to me at all, especially if this history of such a game is true:

Ugh. That's like saying ocarina of time sounds like Darksiders. Sonic Racing IS Diddy Kong Racing.

Strange, I was thinking about Diddy Kong Racing not too long ago. I hope this rumor becomes true, I loved how you can play 3 different types of vehicles, as well as upgrading your items. And let's not forget the Adventure Mode, something that Mario Kart is heavily lacking in. As much as I like playing online against people, an adventure mode would've been cool to play on the side whenever the internet is down or just for fun.

Yeah and its sales are poor. Sales, the argumnent 2DK fans used to justify over Metroid.
