All that needs to be said is what's below, I'll accept slightly less rain effects for for of the following.

FH2=Open World
Dc=track based

FH2=1000 member clubs
DC=7-10 member clubs

FH2=Weather Cycle, Dynamic Lighting, Day/Night Cycle all avaiable at laun
DC=Weather and day/night cycle will be patched in post launch (you can only select day or night at launch)

FH2=200+ cars
DC=50 cars

FH2=Fully Customizable
DC=Can only change car color with no other customization

Fh2=Seamless Singleplay/Multiplayer
DC=Have to go to the main menu and select multiplayer

FH2=Play meets where car templates can be shared and downloaded
DC=millions of trees

FH2=Car damage is aesthetic and actually affects the car

DC=Car damage is aesthetic only

Hilarious poist, why di you leave out 5 tracks for DC?

Wjhat does car count  or number of members have to do with anything? Do you admit then thet GT is better then Forza due to number of cars tracks?

99% of gamers wont use anymore then a FEW MEMBERS OF FRIENDS, IT'S A WASTE OF RESOURCES AND JUST SOMEthing to add to the game box checkbox.

Car damage is BS, you played DC?

Customization..again Link? How does this make a game better?

MP again link?

You given credence to an article that has chosen to take two uneven gifs from a linear track-based game and an open-world game and pretend its worthy of a thread.

What do you expect as a result?

Why does that matter now? People never had that issue with infamous and Killzone compared to Ryse (Yet ryse still loses)?

When one is probably gonna be a mess,with clunky controls,lack of content and soulless as it can be then I don't think that it can be compared to the only racing series that managed to retain such high quality the entire gen.It's not even worth a comparison for those that have play even one forza game.Maybe the one's comparing are those that keep on living in the ps2 days of gran turismo 6.

?? Why? Evolution are a veteran studio. IGN and every other site that has previewed drive club has praised how good the game is shaping up, GAMEPLAY wise. You're reaching.

From when did pre release hype means anything serious about the final product?We have seen time and time again games fall in the same trap so I would keep my expectations lower if I were you.

considering 'One' of them looks no different than a PS3 or 360 with slight improvements, and the other one makes you do a double take and say "woahhh, that's crazy how good that looks!" .. It's pretty obvious lol That bottom one is gorgeous and I didn't even have to read which was which to know. It's that much better.

DriveClub and Forza Horizon 2 are two notable exclusives on the rival platforms. Forza Horizon 2 is exclusive to the Xbox while DriveClub is exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Both of these games look great but in term of realism, which one takes the crown home?

We recently saw weather system for DriveClub, which introduced us to rain in DriveClub and how it will look like in game. This looked seriously impressive and highly realistic, the way the rain drops reacted to the fast moving car. Forza Horizon 2, despite being an impressive looking game, lacks the same effect, and it does make a huge difference as can be seen in the GIF below.

Forza Horizon 2

It's not even close!

Driveclub by a country mile!

Those saying otherwise should have went to spec savers!

Gonna be some salty comments on this thread especially those who were doubting the game!

Horizon 2 will be the overall better game which is really all that matters (more cars, better selection of cars, more online event (infected mode, cat and mouse, tag etc.), 7 radio stations (better music), longer single player mode which will last over 100 hours and have 700 races). Also the weather will be better integrated into the game since it launches with dynamic weather its not an update.

Well, based on the above two clips I think Drive Club looks better. Seeing that footage makes me want to buy the game.

Why is this even a question.  DC should look better its a circut racer the other is a open world racer.  So DC should look better

yeah we should compare the crew vs FH2

The Crew is laughable. Especially the over the top car customization, what is the point of actually having real cars when you customize them to the point where they look like generic cars that should be in a Burnout game or GTA.  The only thing it has over Horizon 2 is a slightly bigger map, but I take a map inspired by southern Europe over a generic verison of the USA any day.  It doesn't even have real traffic cars they are all generic.
