To Join
To join the VGChartz Gamerscore League you must have been a member for at least 1 month and have over 50 posts. (This will not affect anyone that has already signed up)

Platinums
Platinums will no longer award additional points to the first person to obtain the platinum.
The minimum GS required for a platinum will be reduced to 500.
Xbox One and 360 crossgen games will now share a platinum.
Only games released in 2015 will be eligible for platinums.

Races
The points awarded for races will now depend on how many people actually participated.
4+ players: 1st = 6pts, 2nd = 4pts, 3rd = 3pts, 4th = 2pts, 5th = 1pt
8+ players: 1st = 1st = 10pts   2nd = 8pts   3rd = 6pts   4th = 4pts with each subsequent rank receiving 1pt less
12+ players: 1st = 1st = 14pts   2nd = 12pts   3rd = 9pts   4th = 6pts with each subsequent rank receiving 1pt less

As always I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions about these or any other part of the league.

These changes were inspired by feedback throughout the year as well as Seece's Gamerscore League and Arcturus' Playstation Trophy League


I'm good with everything else, but I wouldn't restrict platinums to 2015 games only. I think it should be 2014, or at least the back end of 2014, and on. I imagine that quite a few people (myself included) still have a bit of a backlog of games they didn't get to from last year, and when you couple that with early '15 being a bit dry on big releases I think it's just all around better that way.

Do you think maybe have it from November 2014 onwards as we did last year?

The only issue with that (and the reason I initially said 2015 only) is that some people will then start with some points already. If people don't mind that though, then it's fine.

Why would they start with points? You can see the date at which they won their achievements right? So anything we got last year, doesn't count as a plus this year. You should only be awarded points for anything you accomplish this year.

Him and Kapi are both over 9000 (shut up) in the last 30 days.

I really wish they were saving their super whore games for periods in the competition where we need em, but apparently I'm the only one who realizes that it's a game of attrition

So people that earned the platinum last year don't get the points (since they've already had them) but those that get it this year can still get them? That could work.

Exactly. So for example, I platinumed DAI, which released in November, last year and already had it count for me here for that period. No repeat points for that this year then. If however someone who hasn't got around to playing it yet goes and platinums it now, that should count for him/her during this year.

Then it should be September '14->

That's when the holiday games start to comes out, stuff like horizon 2, shadow of mordor, sunset etc.. Were September/October.
