I love every time one of these threads pop up. Using a few games/things to generalize something is always entertaining. Good job.

Yes, you are right.

How could that be the case when 90% of multplat titles so far run at the same resolution and FPS on both consoles?

I see the AO and 4xAA war starting this fall.

uhhh..... what? That's not even remotely true.

Sorry, IGN counts at 70% at the same resolution/FPS. It was the best I could find.

However only 2 games have the 720p vs 1080p case, but this list is not accurated: We don't know about The Witcher 3 resolution and Tomb Raider for PS4 isn't 60fps, they are missing 3 Lego games (even if 2 of those have PS4 with oversampling 1080p at a higher resolution)

But if I were you I would only wait for the indie games.

You post alot in these type of threads and seem to really feel the need to defend anything Xbox related even if it dosent make sense so im going to try and break it down for you so you can look at this whole gap thing through another perspective.

Ok so you need to buy a new car cus your old one just isnt getting it done anymore its time to trade up. You go to the lot and see two cars that tickle your fancy they are the same car practically the only difference is the mile per gallon each car gets for gas. Car 1 gets lets say 30 MPG not bad however Car 4 gets roughly 50% more ,about 45MPG. Sure car 1 can get equal gas MPG as car 4 if the driver for car 1 is really light footed and babies the car drives real EFFICENTLY and all while at the same time the driver of car 4 stomps on the gas drives up hills and in traffic.... but with all things equal driver, roads, weather car 4 will always get better MPG. Oh and this just in from the dealer car 1 is on sale for the same price as car 4!!!! why would anyone logicaly pick car 1?

Destiny aint no looker.

Lets not pretend Destiny looks bad.

Most importantly, its an indication of progress being made by developers on the X1 hardware.

It looks ok, is no Quantum Theory or The Order.

Well those games may not be the same scale as Destiny.

Bungie claims Destiny has very large enviornments to explore. They also need to have a lot of enemies for multiple players to fight. I assume The Order and Qunatum Theory are going to be linear given both are single player and seem to be cinematic experiences.

I know shit about cars, I thought this was a game related site.

But may be car 1 has a nicer interface, a better sterio sound, parking camera, leater seats... or the guy just liked the look and feel of car 1.

Well, my friend there is people that buys a lot of things and realy don't care about the MPG or resolution that much.

This thread is in the dictionary under cherry picking. But, you give me a call when the One can pull off The Order and Uncharted. You keep fighting the good (losing) fight.

The list you just linked was 50% (13/13) not 70%. And the other 50% was mostly games that weren't hardware intensive like Skylanders, Sniper Elite, Wolfenstein, Murdered soul suspect, Minecraft and such. I'm not trying to get in a hardware power argument because this is totally stupid. The gap is clearly showing in games that are actually using the power.

Do you think Trials Fusion, COD and Thief are "actually using the power" more than Wolfenstein, Project Cars or Need For Speed?

But ok, let me know if you think this 50% difference will continue until the end of this generation or the resolution gap will be closed.

PS: Pay atention, I'm talking about resolution gap, not power gap.

The sales gap is still there though :P joking, of course.

OT: I've seen a bunch of people streaming Destiny pvp and it looks really fun. Why are we still bickering about resolution?

The gap has not disappeared. Some developers know how to use the Xbox better and some don't. All games are able to get 1080, it's just depends on how much time they spend developing it. Since the ESRAM takes more time, it means more money so they don't get 1080. The PS4 is easier to develop for that is why all games but Battefield 4 are 1080.

I dont know about the graphics being better than the PS4 but I had no doubt that the X1 would sooner than later match the PS4 in that department. So the next thing will be Sony fanboys will say " Oh yeah, well my game is at 60fps and your is only at 30!" Na,na,na,na! Even though the human eye can't discern anything more that 24 fps. That is why movies are shot that way. Sigh.....

Seriously?
