C'mon Britts, put your national pride aside for a moment here. You were supposed to lose this one, a draw would be a big surprise on your part. The brutal reality is that you never really stood a chance in this group and only the injury to Suarez allows you to still have hope about advancing to the next round. Your next game is going to be extreemely interesting, as both teams will be playing for dear life and you actually played much better than expected in the first game (I give you credit - didn't expect that much from your team!). Pity that Suarez still isn't ready to play more than 20 minutes :(

PS. I'm gona lol so hard if Costa Rica advances out of this group :D

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

No way England's ever winning anything with Johnson, Rooney and Hodgson.
They have a really good team and could go far if only they had a decent manager who wasn't afraid of letting some younger talents play instead of those two.

Indeed.

I still don't understand why we seem so intent on holding onto "vintage" players in the England squad. Best thing they could have done after 2010 was start again from scratch with young blood, give them time for gel as a team etc. We did it in Rugby and Cricket and it paid dividends.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Does Drogba still play? Sorry, guys. The last time I really watched football was Euro 2012 and before that the World Cup 2010. I've skipped almost every single league and Champions League game in the last four years.

He does. Had a good season with Galatasaray and played in the CL.

I don't get that any semi decent team would use rooney, he just lacks any professionality, yes he was/is talented, but he is also a lazy sob

Really? And of what consequence is it to you?

after that brilliant cross for the 1-1 Rooney realised that that's not how he usually plays in WC games and tried hard to get back into his normal WC form
