Yes, Target has a trade-in program. And here is the ad

Limited to 3 games per transaction.

Some trade-in prices:

  • Battlefield 4 = $53.58
  • COD: Ghosts = $37.05
  • NBA 2K14 = $50.52
  • Assassins Creed 4 = $51.15
  • Killzone = $43.26
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes = $27.99
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition = $57.30
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes = $45.00
  • Knack = $26.64
  • inFAMOUS Second Son = $54.96

when I check BF4 on Target's website it says that it would give me $13 so if I multiply that by 3 it would just be $39 not the $53.58 you listed above.  How did you come up with those prices above?

What soulfly666 said must have been true, then, because I checked myself when I first heard the promotion for Black Flag on PS4 and it was $17 before tripling the value. Now it's showing $11.39. Those bastards.

i think i might still get rid of my assassins creed though, 33 bucks and some change is a great deal!

Holy balls. I would consider parting with killzone for that price

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Too bad we don't have this store in my country :(

I don't trade games in, ever. That's a nice deal though.

I'm normally the same way. But with so many games being remade or now available digitally on newer consoles (Wind Waker, VC games) or just being flat out made obsolete by newer entries in the series (Mario Kart Wii, Wii online service dying tomorrow), I'm taking a serious look at getting ride of some of the games collecting dust for no reason on my limited shelf space. If I can get $15 for MKWii, I'd take the money and run. And I'm not at home so I can't check now, wasn't Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate on sale for $20 on the eShop not too long ago? If it  still is and I can get $15-18 back from selling the disc, I'd do that and just go download it, netting myself more Club Nintendo points.

Am I the only one who never sells his games?

Also, I'd love to meet the blithering idiot who trades in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn or Xenoblade Chronicles and only gets $24 back. PM me and I'll give you twice the amount for the first one. ~_~

I don't sell my digital games... I only have 2 physical games for ps4, the rest are digital (KZ, COD, ISS, FFXIV, DW*XL:CE)

on ps3 I had more physical games... but I have over 100 digital as well...

I tend to buy mostly digital now as well, since I don't plan on getting rid of them.

That makes since.  I gave my Wii & X360 collection to family.  I did the same with the Gamecube, Nintendo 64 .....

I never trade in games that I will replay a lot.  Certain games I will trade in simply because I am not going to play them again, and I want to support devs on another new title.  For instance, Stick of Truth.  Excellent game.  Beat it 3 times.  I don't think I will ever play it again, so I'll trade it in to get 1/2 off new copy of Wolfenstein PS4.  I have no interest in "collecting" or anything like that, only care about the game experience.
