I guess it could to sell some systems in japan. It's pretty obvious it would be announced soon though.

I'm thinking they could use this summer house concept, you could go to your Wii U version on a vacation and then return to your 3DS. It'll be too much of a hassle to start from scratch and I think it's too soon to think about abandoning your town on New Leaf.

Isnt it only 1 year since the 3DS one came out? I think it will happen, but maybe next year and not this one.

I am not the biggest AC fan alive ( I do think Isabelle is adorable! :3), but I do hope that Animal Crossing U gets announced soon! It would help the Wii U quite a bit in Japan!

I'd definitely get it, and I think it would excellently utilize the Gamepad, but I don't want it released so soon. Maybe announce it at E3 2015.

Weren't you able to move from your DS town to the wii town?

They talked about this on one of the IGN NVCs(Nintendo Voice Chats). It is really easy for them to make these games by just building off from the existing titles. The furniture is already all made, so they could just transfer the models and polish them. They also had that Animal Crossing plaza, and nintendo isn't a company that usually wastes resources.
