Forums - Sales Discussion - Prediction League Overall Standings

CALCULATION EXPLANATION

An overall score of 1 would mean the avarage of the predictions is 100% off.
likewise an overall score of 0,00 would mean the avarage of the predictions is 0% off and basicly correct all the time
Also if you are off more then 250% for a single item for example a game bombs and sells 5k but you predicted 50k you are 900% off, this will be corrected to the earlier mentioned 250%.

I'm not sure if i'm gonna put different regions in the same ranking.

HOW TO PLAY

As of now all new rounds add another dimension with a fictional currency.
Im not very imaginitive so let's call them PL$, with these PL$ you can bet on predictions
and will be another way to show us how good you are.
The budget  for each round is 5.000 PL$

The format you need to fill in looks like this

HW SALES PL$
PS4  9.300  500
PS3  7.300  500
WiiU  68.000  1.000
3DS  22.500  500
Vita  13.000  500

SW SALES PL$
Mario Kart 8  250.000  1.000
Mobile Suit Gundam PS3  130.000  800
Hyper Goddess Faith Noir PSV  50.000  100
Yokai Watch  30.000  100

The amount of PL$ used can't be more then that 5.000 in total

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

With enough rounds i can up standings with the last 10 rounds and stuff like that, but that only works if there are enough people putting their balls on the line xD

You still can claim the best round in accuracy overall and I have a feeling its going to be very hard to get a better result

If your overall score is 1, would that be the best?

3DS Friend Code: 4553 - 9954 - 4854. Name - David

an overall score of 1 would mean the avarage of the predictions is 100% off.
likewise an overall score of 0,00 would mean the avarage of the predictions is 0% off and basicly correct all the time

so being off on one game by a big margin can effect the scores quite a lot, I'm thinking on implementing some kind of limit, but not sure if that is fair?
