Bought FFXIV a few weeks back and getting close to lvl 50 on 2 classes, and still loving it. I can say the leveling process has been far more enjoyable than GW2 or WOW. I read there is a lot to do engame, but if I want a break from endgame I can always mess around on another class.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It's honestly surprising to me if Watch_Dogs, a third party game, was able to hit 1080p/60fps and inFAMOUS, a first party game, wasn't able to. I'm interested in seeing how many third party developers will be able to push these systems this generation.

personally i'm more eager to know whether or not TLOU is going to have an  upgrade program and how much it'll cost if it does. that's the mystery factor in my budget

I doubt it will have one, but who knows. Sony has done a pretty good job so far in listening to their fans.
