I hate EA.

If this is actually real, why can't EA just admit they're not putting games on it because of the low sales? It's not as bad as making a really dumb excuse that we know isn't true.

they've said that before. And even if they didnt, so what? what difference does it make? Games are not coming regardless

Does finding that funny make me an horrible person ?

Not at all. It's April fools day and people take these tweets far to serious.

No class and hopefully someone got fired.

There is a difference between april fools and being idiots. A company needs to consider its image, you can't just do whatever you want on april fools day and hope there is no consequences.

Imagine if you told your wife this morning she looked fat. Then went april fools. Good luck with that. Doesn't matter if there is truth in the statement or not. Doesn't matter if you were just trying to have some good natured fun. It was innapropriate and you will pay for it.

Look at the list of best april fools and its things that are not CHEAP Shots or dissing another company. The Google pokemon, the transformers titanfall, ect. Good natured fun things. Not being some little bitch 12 year old ragging on another company.

But I'm sure this intern got fired at EA for posting these tweets. And based on over half these comments it was probably an immature fanboy much like you'll find on this site and others.

The first one wasn't funny but the second and third made me smile.

You are just a horrible person inside and out aren't you, Pokoko?

OT: Generation 4 system? Isn't that a bit too considerate? It's no better than Pong.

And people think their isn't some corporate rivalry (hatred?) from EA to Nintendo.

These tweets were probably the result of some intern trying to be funny.

Doubtful an Intern is in charge of PR.  It is no doubt someone just trying to be funny, but there is a corporate view that Nintendo is a software rival for EA.  It's the culture at their company, and has been since the 90's.  There would be no mocking of a platform EA had any intention of selling games on.

The difference would be that EA is not acting like kids that think they're good at trolling.

Did this actually happen? It's hard to trust anything reported on April 1.

In either case, I don't think this is very harsh at all. Unoriginal, predictable, unfunny? Yes. Harsh? No.

Ohoho~!  I also tricked Basil into looking at animated porn.

The generations thing, though, I think has to do with EA numbering things differently.
