WIsh it was on sale on PSN >_>

Or a price reduction from $25 to $20 since 25 is such an odd number. Not sure how much it is in your region

Wooo i can finally join in on this one

Glad you could finally join us :)

hopefully you enjoy this one, btw which version are you going to buy?

The Vita version which i just got off PSN :)

Played a little last night. Beat the first boss. The art direction is gorgeous and the combat is addictive, but I don't like the segmented feel of the game.

One of the most beautiful 2d games I ever played and the combat is fun and the music is awesome, and the boss battles are epic in a 2d anime way. This game is really about the boss battles though the enemies on the way are just for practice (and it is best played on hard), between the two characters makes for a lot of boss battles that are truly fun to fight.

I agree that I kind of dislike the map design, there could've added platforming sections for each map to make it feel like a proper metroidvania. The combat is quick and fun but when fighting bosses or higher level monsters it gets stretched out revealing how basic it actually is.

I recommend anyone intending to play this game, to try the Vita version, it's better o every aspect:

1 - most importantly it has access do DLC data which will include additional history for 4 new characters,
2 - HD graphics! (IT LOOKS AMAZING)
3 - Better localization the dialogues make sense and have been better adapted from the Japanese then on the Wii's version!

I just preordered my BL2 edition Vita. Missed out on this game (didn't own a Wii) but it looks great. The Vita version is dubbed 'Rebirth" right?

Looking forward to playing this and Dragon's Crown for sure.

After being a lazy twat for a few days I have finally put in the first week questions (hurray!).
My personal BS will come eventually (I honestly have no idea what to write)

Also I have played the first DLC which is Fishy Tales of the Nekomata, and it's very good. The character has 3 forms which controls the same way as the characters from the main game, however she differs because her animations are a little odd example being her dodge and her dash. Her second form is a cat with ranged spells and the final one is a demon.

The DLC is approximately 1-3 hours long, with a few new bosses but that's about all the extra content.

So I played a little more tonight after taking yesterday off. I like it a lot more. The game has opened up considerably. More places to go, more freedom of movement, etc. Makes a huge difference.
