Forums - Gaming - Disappointment for Titanfall sales?

I've been watching this site closely and they seem to have been pretty accurate in the past:

Titanfall sells 700,000 copies at launch but PS4 still outsells Xbox One comfortably

The messsiah came and caused a stir among existing Xbox One owners, but wasn't powerful enough to fend off the PS4 juggernaut. A clever marketing ploy by SONY saw around 200,000 PS4 units shipped globally during Titanfall week. Titanfall did manage to boost Xbox One sales in UK and USA, but outside of those regions, the game had almost no impact on hardware sales. Below is the breakdown of the hardware and software sales across USA and PAL during the week ending March 16,2014.

UK :

Xbox One - 23,000 units

PS4 - 27,000 units

Titanfall Xbox One - 125,000 copies

USA :

Titanfall Xbox One - 480,000 copies

We do not have the final hardware numbers for last week, but based on the near final numbers, we have PS4 and Xbox One being virtually neck and neck, with each console selling over 100,000 units

Rest of Europe / PAL:

PS4 - 80,000 units ( Hardware sales increased 200% over the week ending March 9th, 2014)

Xbox One  - 12,000 units

Titanfall Xbox One - ~100,000 units

The PS5 Exists.

Hmm, if what you are saying is actually correct, then I guess the price for X1 still can't be justified even with TitanFall (I know its for other platforms) but I want to see the full numbers first

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

135k XBONE for the week and 207k PS4 for the week?

Also that means 12k XBONE and 16k PS4 in UK last week?

I mean those numbers are possible, but I'm going to have to disagree considering the source.

Titanfall = great sales, but in UK wasnt a big big jump in hardware. M$ has US though!

Sony saved some shipments for the Titanfall launch, just as I predicted. An easy prediction but still. I wonder about the long-term effect Titanfall will have on the Xbox One, as well as the sales of Titanfall on both One and 360.

If the week ending March 8 for the UK on this site are correct
XB1: 8,889
PS4: 6,601

and if this rumour is true
http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/03/17/ps4-sales-also-increased-by-74-on-titanfalls-launch-week-in-the-uk-according-to-report/

Then well the XB1 would be above the PS4 for the week ending March 15th and "insiderp's (lol)" numbers for both consoles would be way off.

Im supposed to believe a site that hasn't updated sales since January? Lol ok

Yikes. If this is true that's a pretty big hit for MS. What do they do if there biggest game (bundled no less) doesn't even push them above the PS4 on it's launch week?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Well, Respawn should be pretty happy considering it's their first game and a new IP no less. MS, not so much considering how much they had riding on one game.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Looks like EA did Microsoft more of a favor that Microsoft did for EA.
