Thanks for your review! I thought it was really well presented and had some great points. I haven't purchased a Wii U quite yet. I'm waiting for May 30th to come along so I can play me some Mario Kart 8. When I do finally get a Wii U, I will pick up DKCTF and SM3DW along with Mario Kart 8. I'm so excited for the end of May to come!!!

Thanks and hope you enjoy your purchase when you get it :D  Mario kart 8 is looking really good.  For me im patiently waiting Smash Bros.  Love that franchise

It's better than Braid and Limbo because those games are more puzzle games than platformer. Once you know the puzzles, they have zero replayability.

Next question.

But they are more progressive in aesthetics and new gameplay.

Also as I said, why could this have not come out 7 years ago?

What does Braid or Limbo do in terms of new gameplay?

You haven't played them if you have to ask that.

Well, why not answer his question if you think he might not have played them?  I mean Braid has that whole "Prince of Persia from 2002" time rewind thing going for it and Limbo is in black and white so what else?  Help us out here!

-for the record, I got every Achievement in Braid except the speed run and every Achievement in Limbo except the limited death one.

Yes ive played Limbo and Braid as well. Good games, but both are incredibly short and are puzzle platformers, not really like DKC at all.

What i do find amusing is saying DKC could have been made 7 years ago and then acting like Limbo and Braid couldnt have when both games are old by this point. Again any game could have been made 7 years ago but it doesnt mean they still arent fun today.

And from the sounds of it Jimbo criticising someone and making an assumption they havent played a game, well my guess would be jimbo hasnt play DKC:TF. Kind of hypocritical if that is true

Limbo is one of my favorite games of last gen, I even speedrun it and I beat it in 45 minutes. And Braid is a pretty solid game, I got all the stars pieces without using a guide (I had to look for one though, the one where there's a cloud that moves ridiculously slow across the map).

So answer the question, what those games bring new to the table in terms of gameplay?

I forgot Braid had wall running and swordplay. Also both are Indie games, not from some company with how much in the bank?
