Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 Version of MGS: Ground Zeroes uses Atmosphere Simulation for the Sky

That is one thing I did notice when I was looking at the comparison; was that the PS4 version had really nice atmosphere. It looked like it was a sunny day in the summer. What do you guys think of the PS3 version? I feel it looks a bit sharper than the 360 version.

Can't wait to see more Studios going bankrupt because of such useless development costs which are not nessesary for the quality of good gameplay and awesome games!!!

Cloudless blue skies, only on PS4. Clearly it can't handle the cloud rendering PS3/360/Xbone can.

Yeah, people are boasting about the sky and we haven't really seen what make it unique yet.

Based solely on the pic, the cloudy sky seems more impressive.

I think its the fact that its dynamic...

The skies on the PS3, 360 and X1 are exactly the same. The PS4 is different...come back at the same time of day on the PS4 and it will be different again. Thats the what i get from this tweet. I dont see why its not better? Unless Kojima is flat out lying...which doesnt make much sense to do

Hardware matters.

If X1 gets beaten this way for the whole year in each multiplat then the sky is not blue for X1 sales (hoho)
