(with hope) It's a 90(+). Because it will be one of the games on the Wii U.

I'm not sure how its being 'one of the games on the Wii U' warrants it garnering excellent reviews.  There are plenty of other games which are on the Wii U who haven't, by virtue of being Wii U games, been given excellent reviews.

85-90.

Simply because Mario Kart is fun! Reviewers should be reviewing on enjoyment and I doubt many people do not enjoy playing Mario Kart games.

Yeah that's true but there is Super Mario 3D World in my mind. Well it isn't a revolution of the genre or isn't something what is completely new but it just did everything right. It was fun and had great graphics. In the trailers you could see that the graphics are nice, too and a Mario Kart was always fun. Of course it not a guarantee that the score will be as high as I said but I think the title has good chances to be one of the best games on the Wii U.

I checked some review on Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and all the sites that give it a score in the 70s said it was a great game, but that it had all been done before. So out of curiosity I checked what these sites gave to Call of Duty: Black Ops II and save to say it was all in the 90s and all of a sudden it didn't matter anymore that it had all been done before.

There's a clear bias against this game, and it's possible there will be a similar bias against Mario Kart 8. Even though these aren't the games that get rehashed every year. How on earth does this get 82%(with major complaint that it has been done before) while FIFA 2014 gets an 89%. Although users clearly score these games lower on Metacritic than these so called "professional reviewers".

Journalists these days... I feel like historians are much better trained to do their job(guess what I'm majoring at haha).
