Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 still not catching to demand???

Why are these threads still being made. Isn't it obvious that Sony just didn't make enough units.

Any time XBO sells out (Game a few days ago) it gets restocked quickly as Game now has pretty much all of the XBO bundles in stock.

Any time a PS4 bundle sells out, it can take up to a week, even more to restock it.

Why don't you take a guess why Sony "just didn't make enough units"... (protip: they're not making less PS4s then MS is making X1s)

I don't think we will actually. Once Sony stop stocking for Japan, they'll spread more consoles to the West.

I didn't checked other places but Amazon UK is listing PS4 "In stock on March 11, 2014".

Oh ... Surely they'll still be SOME stock though? And Amazon aren't the ONLY retailer.

The PS5 Exists.

So, why prices at eBay and others secondhand markets are going down by the weekly basis?

The four basic laws of supply and demand are:[1]:37

  1. If demand increases and supply remains unchanged, a shortage occurs, leading to a higher equilibrium price.
  2. If demand decreases and supply remains unchanged, a surplus occurs, leading to a lower equilibrium price.
  3. If demand remains unchanged and supply increases, a surplus occurs, leading to a lower equilibrium price.
  4. If demand remains unchanged and supply decreases, a shortage occurs, leading to a higher equilibrium price

XBO would be in this situation too if it wasn't 1.7 million units and counting behind. Of course MS can restock quickly, they stuffed the channel during the holidays and still have 500k units on shelves since Dec 31st.

Going down? Keep telling yourself that, buddy. The prices have actually gone up. A few weeks ago, people were just breaking even, or making about a $50 profit. Now they're back to making $100+

Oh I do, don't worry. Tell me, have ebay prices reached retail prices yet?
