Japan keeps vita viable, and so would europe if those 13k who buy PSP would just throw down a bit more money and get a vita. Sad that it's as good as dead in USA, I don't see anything changing there ever.

PS4 looking strong, but at the same time, supply issues notwithstanding gen 8 will be smaller than gen 7. PS4 will never do Wii-like numbers and will never sell as long as PS2.. but it will still be a good generation for moar gaems!-

The Vita looks like fun... The Wii U is still disappointing...

Xbox One is extremely easy to find... anywhere...

There are places you could actually get a PS4 for retail, which is nice to see.

Edit: I don't get why everyone is surprised though. It's been ahead of 360 every week since week ending December 21st.

I expected 360's position as a cheap Gen 7 multiplat machine to keep it selling decently after Xbone and PS4 launched, but I guess I was wrong.

I dont know why people would expect PS4 to be doing Wii numbers all around. The Wii was $250. The Wii obviously wouldn't have sold like it did if it was $399 and PS4 numbers would be different right now if it was $250

 

PS4 doesn't really need to be doing Wii numbers right now 

 

Edit: And Wii was also released in Japan at the time which accounted for 83k of its WW 245k sales number the same time this week

Exactly, and imo the ps4 will sell better overall because it will have logevity, something the wii lacked. PS4 won't keep up with wii's first year but like you said it doesn't need to.
