Bayonetta will flop because its audience is on another console.

At least, if Nintendo could advertise Bayonetta 2, it would sell very well, even better than some games listed like The Division. Oh dear, but it is Nintendo...

I'm not seeing Bayonetta, depending on what your expectations are. I think it can match a game like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, at least, do a solid 500k.

It's probably going to sell 300k+ the first week in Japan...

Lol, maybe.  Without 360-like sales coming from EU and Japan, 2014 is probably going to be a tough year for the One.  Though, I still think Wii U will sell quite a bit lower.

I think that, hands down, it will be Bayonetta.  Taken that 3rd party developed games aren't selling much at all on the Wii U, plus the fact that the fans of that game are on different consoles, its got flop written all over it. 

There is the possibility of Titanfall "flopping," but only in terms of not living up to people's sales expectations (including how much it will boost the One's sales.)  The fact that it is an online only game (with only 6 vs 6, at that) certainly goes against it, but I think with the amssive hype train MS is going to make for it will cause it to sell well, just not as well as some are thinking.

and i dont see Bayonetta 2 flopping. if u have a wii u why should u not buy this game? who dont like a sexy ladie shooting and doing other stuff? wii u just has the nintendo core, they are no kids,they are mens in the late 20ths...

It's Bayonetta 2 because the second game will always be compared to the first and it's going to get nowhere near. It will be lucky if it moves 1/3 as many copies. If Sega didn't want to greenlight the sequel when the first sold 1M, then there is no way Bayonetta 2 is going to turn a profit.

The thing is, Nintendo desperately needs the game to perform well in order to show third-parties. You can bet publishers will be watching with a high degree of interest. Nintendo needs to spend some cash on advertising--however, I have a hunch they won't.

Hyrule Warriors might not do well. Honestly, the people who like those games will have a PS3 and all the Warriors games they can handle. It might have modest enough expectations that keep it from being a failure, though, and as an experiment, it might even be a success.

As true flops go, I'm going to say The Crew. I think it's going to fail to find an audience.

Biggest flop, especially considering the budget? That's easy, and noone even said it cause everyone forgot about the game. The Elder Scrolls Online.

Other than that, my guesses: The Crew, Mad Max, Wolfenstein New Order (depending if they launch during a drought or not)
