Fair enough, I got in to alpha but i havent actually installed it yet, with all the talk about it half of me wants to, the other half wants to wait for the finished game.

I thinkyou are pot on here. MS have weakened the power of the game considerably (as a console seller for X1) by allowing it on the x360 as well as pc. A cheaper move no doubt but a stupid one i suspect.


A PC is not a console and they really do not compete in the same space.  Having a 360 game created by an outsourced company probably will not be the same or even have the level of polish as the X1 version.  What I do know is that people like to play the superior version of a game so unless the PC version totally outclass the X1 version, Titanfall should be a system seller for the X1.  If Titanfall takes off like COD, Gears or Halo then MS would have a pretty solid piece in their salvo for the drought months that are coming during Titanfall release.

I guess you can only answer this question if you decide to pick it up and play it when it is released. But I can safely say that I have absolutely no interest in Titanfall whatsoever, and struggle to see why the media/people is/are hyping up yet another first-person-shooter. People look at it as the second-coming of gaming when in reality it is just another shooter, with jet-packs, robots, and a rather bland looking art-style/colour palette.

Its been hyped so we need to get to the bottom of it and ask some people on VGC about it. VGC is always honest.......................

According to people who like a story-driven, single player campaign in a FPS, yes. I'm one of those.

Hugely disappointed there's no single player campaign. Probably will delay my decision on getting XOne for at least 9 months or whenever Destiny comes out.



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

The irony about his point is that the people who got the Alpha are ALL Battlefield 4 players, not COD lol.

EDIT: Wow I just listened to him say the same things over and over for 5 minutes: "Titan fail = wannabee Crysis 3" and "You say ____ is the greatest game ever and then go back to the old one." This vid could have been 2 minutes lol
