511k is actually very good for a dead console (at least according to few ). Good job Nintendo!

I am so happy that today is NPD day and that ioi shut up those guys who doubted VGchartz the last weeks.

I have no problem with reading some comments about people who believe and think PS4 will sell the most in december in USA, especially when they come up with reasons why that will happen. But I can't stand to read how somebody calls VGchartz wrong and how everyone who thinks Xbox one is first is totally wrong...without any source.

I hope moderators can be more strict about that kind of behaviour in the future, it is annoying.

And really thanks ioi to come in this thread, I wished you did that more often.

Hope springs eternal. GameCube had $99 and Mario Kart its third Christmas, Wii U ain't matching that. 

Wii Party U, Wii Sports Club, and Pikmin 3 are on the Wii U too and Zelda was not out on the GCN at this point outside of Japan, nor was StarFox. 


We will just have to wait and see.  The Gamecube sold 7 million copies each of Smash Bros and Mario Kart, and without those 2 the console may have sold unless 10 million.  Wii U is at 5.3 million without either already.  I'm not saying Wii U will outsell PS4 or anything, but I think it is going to end up with N64 number, not gamecube numbers.


N64 is raping the Wii U right now (sorry there's no other way to put it), if Nintendo hopes to have the Wii U start selling at N64 levels any time soon they're going to need something even more than Mario Kart and Smash Bros IMO.

I wonder how many PS4 had. BF4, CoD, KZ, Madden, AC maybe FIFA?


Edit: well since there are four spots left and multiplats are already counted, then i would guess the last four are killzone, super mario, windwAker, and knack.

Wait there are supply's issue in US ? In Europe everyone is yelling that US has all the stock.

Lol, there's supply issues pretty much everywhere.  Sony made sure most of there stock got to the US, at least that's what a representative from Sony UK said, so I don't think the gap is that large in the US.  Still they have 40+ other countries they are trying to get supply to all over the world, where MS can just focus their stock in the US, as it's not selling gangbusters everyhwere else.
