ok i had this on my ps3 a while back and what if ind weird is i have the same humidifier as the guy on neogaf a vicks vapor rub humidifier, i havent ran it this year, but im thinking its the vapor rub which if you let the humidifier run dry has white residue inside it as well. what i think is happening the heat from the system is drying the humid vapor rub filled air and that is the residue from the said air. could be wrong and it could totally be a blown transistor.

Idk if I should be looking at this the right way or the wrong way...

Wow I'm really glad I didn't bought one yet, maybe Sony and Microsoft will be aware and check to see if this problem is major or minor.

yeah me too. but consoles seem to have their fair share of trouble, and some PS4 controllers have some bad rubber on the sticks. im thinking i might reconsider to get one around march

PS4's creampie is bigger and juicier than XBOne's one! Given the latter's name, I wouldn't have ever guessed it.
