Someone in another thread recently said that the Gamecube was an epic failure and it had crappy games.  What do you think?  I think it was a great system that delivered amazing games to core gamers, and it was the last Nintendo home system to do so.  Who cares if it was a commecial disappointment?  It reminds me of the Dreamcast in this regard.

I think it was amazing. Even though it had bad sales it had some really great Nintendo games.

The system didn't have as many fantastic exclusives as the PS2 did, but the games on it were still amazing. It also has every good Resident Evil game. So it's a must have console.

Also the controller and the console are so cute :3

And the menu music is nice.

7/10... Melee, Metroid and WW were great titles and the controller was great but I had issues with the C stick breaking after a while and it had the worst mario game ever imo... Super Mario Sunshine is a game I did not like

Looks like somebody got mad at arius dion LOL. What he said was not far off from the truth. The gamecube was an epic massive failure/flop. Nothing less and nothing more to it.

The gamecube was a massive dissapointment IMO.

Have it and like it, but suffered from many of the drawbacks recent Nintendo consoles have. Best thing about it was the first party games, and Tales of Symphonia, my first Tales game.

It had a great controller a decent amount of third party support, some of my favourite games of all time like Metroid Prime and SSBM, it's only downfall is that it sold so little...

7/10, Nintendo released so many bad games for it, the horrible Star Fox games, basically ruined the Mario Party series with sequel after sequel with minimal improvement, Wario games, gimmicky DK games, etc.  The controller and games like RE4, SSBB, Metroid Prime, MK DD, Sunshine, etc, bring it up.

7.5 so I rounded up. Lots of gems.

      8/10- Few 3rd party games, but the Nintendo games were generally great with some minor exceptions * cough* Star Fox *cough* Mario Party *cough* * Donkey Konga * cough*
