that's the problem tho, they do actually have sales on now and again, up until last week there was a big ubisoft sale on games on demand stuff, only thing is they sometimes don't advertise it very well, tis a damn shame too because if more people knew they'd put down some cash and get awesome games for it. Tis why I made this thread heh.

Nelsons own site is pretty good for announcing upcoming sales, he is a good PR man and a fan of games.

Yes, I usually check his site quite often. He is the most fair person out there.  True he works for Microsoft, but he will also say nice things about the other consoles and talk about games on their system.

They do, they have sales all the time.  But they have to extra 'one day only' ones in December holiday season.  I got some Skyrim DLC and Walking Dead at like 50% or 75% off.  Those are the deals I wish they had more often.


Yeah the same as the steam flash sales, I really don't get why microsoft are afraid of the steam business model, it clearly works. I think from the start of the X1 when people asked "will it be like steam?" they shouldn't have replied that steam doesn't have family sharing plan and game sharing.. .they shoulda just said "yup" and everyone woulda been well excited for it.

I downloaded the trial of that Heroes of middle earth moba thing.... christ the trial puts you in a game with 4 AI 2 of mine just faced into a wall and didn't fight at all and one of the enemy AI just went on a rampage farming the rest of my team for 30 mins.... I definately spent money after a Demo that good :D sure I know the full game you'll be playing with other players all the time but my god that trial was infuriating.

I'm not actually sure I'm just going from my own 360 I'm afraid I've not dipped my toe into the next gen just yet. I know that there are some deals on Xbox movie tho, which I'm pretty sure is the same rental program which should be on the X1? if it is on their you'll find pretty much all the Xmas movies available to rent for 0.99c in SD tisn't bad since one of them is the Cgi Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. Great if you've not seen it for a euro, could make for a good way to spend some time with the family on Xmas day around the X1 :)

The first one is included in the season pass while the second one isn't. If you don't have a season pass the second one is a better buy as it includes the raid on digistruct peak level.

Damn! Microsoft jipped their gamers big time if they dont add the new Spiderman to the list. Good game and its been on Sonys sales since like Summer. Outside of Bioshock infinite they are really playing it cheap.

Fez - 2.50$ (200msp) (was 10$)

aye, updated the OP with the Euro prices for these. Fez is pretty cool for 2/3euros but yeah ever since the hissy fit the maker of it had last year I've no interest sending any money his way.
