Oh just man up and say its unfortunate. Both franchises dropped a bracket. It happens but no biggie if you still plan to enjoy the game. GT is a great sim but suffers as a video game. That is why the score is down, not because of its sim factor.

Is this Metacritic thing your god or something?

Metascore is a stupid system and people who review are biased in some ways and also pointing that this did not interest and did not brought something new to give low score. Its up to users to decide if they want to support developer so we get more games from the developers in future otherwise we might end up less games/studios getting closed. Developers try to do everything they can but sometimes it might not get perfect. However, we should not disappoint them by not buying at all due to the fact it did not get 85+ meta score and reviews are poor.

I hope this metascore system soon go away and developers try to provide demo for their games, so people try that and use their instincts to decide about the game.

When I say meta is bullshit it applies to all games.

I wonder how many people championed Last of Us meta score, and put the scores in their signature, and used it in debates, are going to be here and discredit metacritic now.......

Watched the ign review and though it was mostly fair got praised for its vast selection of tracks. Got criticized for its lack of proper damage and poor engine and collision sounds and lack of interiors on the standard cars. Plus the car exterior customization is still lacking.

Using meta critic is not good thing by anyone and should be avoided usage of this, so we can have a better way to evaluate a game by trusting atleaset some review sites instead of considering every reivew (or) creating a new unique review sytem based on the tastes/gener which explains in that perspective instead of whole. Since, everybody thinks and have needs differently about games so that might give games trouble.

This happens with every fanbase it seems, it's pretty silly.

I am happy that finally a score between 70-80 means "good" and not "crap" like a few years ago. Look at the games with 80-88 scores 2-3 years ago, they would be 10 points or more lower now. I like this score system a lot more.
