"A new press release sent out by Spike TV has reconfirmed Reggie Fils-Aime’s appearance at the Spike VGX awards this weekend. According to the press release, Reggie will be “presenting a new look at an upcoming Wii U game.”

The announcement doesn’t go into further detail beyond that, so it’s left up to us to speculate what we could be seeing. Will it be unseen footage of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, or perhaps Yarn Yoshi? Who knows! The VGX awards will be airing December 7th at 6PM EST/3PM PST.

I wanted a new game; now i expect X.

If they are going to VGX they better bring a heavy hitter like zelda or metroid. No yarn yoshi or yarn kirby 2. Imagine they bring wii music U lmao.

It will probably be DKC then by the sounds of it. It's the next game Nintendo has to sell anyway.
