i went to my wal mart this morning, nov 30. at 7 am, and was shocked to find about 5 xbox ones freely sitting behind bars in electronics. morning after black friday.

it could mean ms really did ramp up the bf  stock. could also be an indication of soft demand for x1. both can be true.

fwiw it looked like the game section had been pretty cleared out. appeared pretty much every next gen game was sold out, and even current gen looked pretty decimated. i think there may have been a ps3 or two sitting around, like one stand alone kinect, but other than that i think all systems were sold out to except x1. but i didn't pay perfect attention to what was available

dont know about the chances. Microsoft stocked EU with little stock. it sold 170k in EU outside of UK. hardly anything to brag about. if they continue to allocate most of their stock available to USA and ignore the rest of EU outside of UK. then maybe it could happen. depends on how much stock sony had for USA too.

I'd say it is very possible! I hope it happens actually, either way I can see xbox still taking over US again this generation.

Looking at some tracker website it seems like wallmart is a big seller for Xbox one. When I look at the ps4 tracker availability since launch its mostly about GameStop. It looks like ps4 outsold Xbox one with a great margin on GameStop and the same could be said for Xbox one outselling ps4 on wallmart. In the US even a 50-50 tied is good news for both Sony and MS. Because Sony will be in position to fight for the US, and because while it looked like MS was going to lose the US it suddenly became a battleground.

Where did you get that idea from?

Black Friday sales won't be that good will they?

Very unlikely for America and Impossible world wide.

That is if you can call the launches in November world wide.

better question: what are the chances we actually get enough NPD numbers to even answer that question?


...and one way or another it appears to be close based on VGCz numbers. xbone isn't too far behind on day 1 numbers and we'll see about black friday but both appear to be low in stock. could go either way really.
