Watch how Neil and his team from Naughty Dog went from Uncharted 2 to create The Last of Us. Neil Druckmann is quite possibly the greatest writer in video games, atleast in my opinion.
He talks about his own ending interpretation as well as mentions how the team is currently brainstorming for possibly a new IP or continuing a story within the same world as The Last of Us.
He really goes through everything from initial ideas and what inspired him along with the writing techniques he utilized. If you enjoyed The Last of Us, this should truly make you appreciate it even more. I watched the whole thing last night and I still somewhat reflect upon it.
