Forums - Sony Discussion - I think my PSN is hacked

So... I was trying to go online on PSN for the first time in a few days now.

First I logged went on my vita, I couldn't log on there because of an incorrect password... strange.

I went on my ps3 then to check if I had teh same problem there, my expection was correct. Same problem.

Then I went on the PSN store on my pc to check if I was still able to log in there. Nope.

My password is changed.

Now VGchartz community, I need your help...

Am I hacked? (I think so, I hope not though)

Do you know how I can fix this?

I am now trying to change the password by sending it to my gmail (which isn't hacked, I hope).

But feel free to tell me what to do if this doesn't work.

Thanks in advance :)

no a lot of people had their passwords reset by sony, just request to change your password and you can log in again.

edit: they were reset as a "precautionary measure" for "irregular activity"

No, Sony reset some passwords. You just need to choose the forget your password link on a PC.

Alright so I've changed my password.
Now I'm still wondering why the fuck my password was changed

I'm assuming you live in Europe? if so I believe Sony did a password reset, not sure why though

Passwords must be changed periodically. If not changed at least once in 2 years, SEN does it for you.

How thoughtful of them. I nearly had a heart attack

They should at least send a notification a week earlier so that people don't freak out when it happens.
