It would be cool, but most companies including Sony tend to go as cheap as possible when it comes to hardware. I guess they'll be using traditional drives for the rest of the generation even if they go up to 2TB of larger in future SKU's.

Well if the fans want it, then Sony should consider it as an option. I think it's smart that they are pricing the PS4 below the One, but maybe instead of a 500GB option, there could be a 256GB Hybrid option as a $20 premium?
They need to keep the cost Under $430 because the PS Eye is $60 (I think) and we don't want MS advertizing that the One is better then the PS4 on a cost merit.

What am I doing? I'm getting a WiiU and PS4 likely in 2015. I've had a bad experience with first gen Sony products, and still have a lot of PS3/360/Wii games to beat, so why upgrade anytime soon? WiiU I'm buying when X releases. So far the only game I want out is Pikmin 3, and that's not enough. Plus 15 Wii games to beat....

Edit: It would cost $499. They would have to bundle to try and add value at that price point.
Nonetheless, a 1TB PS4 is inevitable at some point. Perharps when the PS4 profit margins increase significantly.

About $150 for Hybrid. Thousands if it's an SSD.
