The Pokemon Company is private, so they don't release earnings.  So, do you have a link?

I just said someone posted a link showing this. It was a list of 2012s biggest brands. Poke was up there with like 1.5 billion in revenue. Without a new Poke game or generation that year. Hopefully the guy that posted it responds.

Well it wasn't a new generation, but there was Black and White 2 last year.  Plus $1.5 billion should be less revenue than GTAV has made already, much less lifetime.  Now, not all that revenue goes to the publisher, but if your figure is from a list of biggest brands, it is likely revenue at retail as well.
