From what I have seen, the games looks really interesting. I like the QTE style when it works like in the Arkham games. Coupled with the great graphics, acting seems really solid, well it could become a favorite among gamers at least :).

Every footage I've seen so far of this game was visually great but pretty repetitive. Of course I'd need to play it in its entirety before giving definitive scores, but what I've seen so far wouldn't be more than 7/10. Besides, since everyone is already heavily biased against the game it won't get good receptions anyways. It could indeed be the best game in the world, but you wouldn't see it being reflected in reviews. The opinion of most people towards this game is set.

Well, it would have to be a completely different game than what's been shown off in the trailers for that to happen.

And in that case, I'd probably sue Microsoft for false advertising.

Gameplay doesn't look that appealing, which is a problem problem with Crytek. They focus too much on making things pretty rather than offering substance.

It's all subjective, there is no way to objectively find that Ryse or any other game for that matter is the "best game ever".

then ill be enjoying it when i get it on the 22nd but i dont think itll be the best game ever made i think itll be fun and that the sequel will be better since itll be built from the ground up as a controller game

Well TW101 was one of the best made games ever and got a 78 metascore, Ryse could be a very good game and get low scores and vice versa but it looks mediocre, most of the roman history shown so far is completely wrong so the game might have a twist in the story that would change everything

I was generally talking about the weapons, the armor, the size of the main character and some of the commands and orders, i'm not the most knowledgable in roman history but from what i know the main characters size and armor are far from acurate.

i didn't follow Ryse much even though it was the only exclusive that impressedmeduring E3 i just stopped caring about it after hearing about QTEs and simply looked at screenshots so if you can inform me about the game's story it will be greatly appreciated
