The way to get people to use your service is not to force them by having no alternatives, but having your service be better than alternatives.

Heck its the main reason people mod their systems, cause the system won't let them do something that they want to.

Big big fail. No dlna, no mp3, no br remote support? This means no custom music in games, leisurely music playback, streaming stored videos on my network hard drive! Big fail. I'm not subscribing to their crappy music service. X1 will definitely be the preferred console for anything related to media, games with custom soundtracks etc.

I honestly don't use this feature on the PS3. But I'm oddly still a little annoyed by this. I have no idea why.

Well you pretty much answered your own question they want you to sign up to their music unlimited service which I heard isn't that good and has pretty limited selection of songs.

This sucks.
