Forums - Sales Discussion - Global HW 12th of Oct. Pokemon week! Beyond!

I'm surprised people can even say the Wii U's numbers aren't impressive. Its the top selling console in America for the 2nd week in a row...now it just need to catch on in the rest of the world.

no it isnt!

Woo! Vita almost outsells 360

Pretty weak boost for 3DS. That's surprising. Happy to see PS3 finally reach 80 million.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I would be mildly surprise if B2S does 400k world wide this week. Hopefully it can reach a million or so LTD.

Honestly think either 2 things:

1. 3DS boost was only for 1 day so it's going to show throughout next week as well.
2. VGC is underestimating the 3DS boost.

AC drove the 3DS sales more in the West and it didn't even sell one third as much... Very hard to believe imo.

72k after a price cut is impressive? well I guess the standards will be low next gen

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

great 3DS hardware but...

...it should be pointed out MH moved more hardware (japan) than pokemon. MH was the true vita killer. :P

That may be true, but the two games were released close together, so there had to have been crossover between the two fanbases.

Yeah, really low. God, 150k is considered great sales nowadays, 150k! Even 3DS sales is really far from be impressive.

I was here, when DS and Wii did 300, 400k, every week without new model, bundles, games or price cut.

Nice hold for Wii U, let see how it goes when the new sonic game released. Also, the first time ps3 reached a milestone before xbox 360, still no 80 million shipment announced yet from sony, so i don't know what to think about the 80 million sold to customers.
