Are you implying that DDR3 + Esram vs Gddr5 is not really an issue to bring the same image quality, framerate etc

I am not implying anything, I am being very clear and concise.

How do you see the development of the Mobile market? As competition? Oppertunity? Do you think it will have an impact on the 'casual" sales?

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Do you use any tools by RAD, e.g. bink?

mm no answer to my question :/, is ok no probs.

I considered it a joke "but can it run crysis" question so i skipped it.

since you have knowledge in developing for next gen consoles,

I have this question,

Can next gen consoles capable of handling Crysis 1 in 1920x1200 in a lock 60 frames per second with all max settings(including physics) ?

They can certainly try, though locking to 60frames isnt an exact science, even if the software itself is capable of handling consistent 60frames, it isnt just the game running in memory and on the hardware, so its also at the mercy of background operations, on both systems you cannot lock and get a consistent framerate that does not see any impact from other processes, such as displaying prompts messages or alerts from outside of the game environment.

But for the most part it would be possible if handled properly, a quick and dirty port is trash next to a ground up engine rewrite, after all.

And lets face it, Crysis 1s engine is getting pretty old.

Thank you for your response, and didn't mean my question taken as a joke sorry for that,

So why do I ask that ?

Because one of the hardest things I have seen through my years of gaming is how hard is to developers put physics on the game, so Why I mention Crysis ?

Because Crysis is I think the only game that it has dinamic environment and  is an open world and not only that it looks great too, I mean for example you can shoot a three and while is on the ground shoot it again and the little parts  on the ground you can actually grab them and throw them and used as a weapon, also that little part you grab has its own shadow, dunno if I'm explaining my self :s.

I know the game is years old but so far I haven't seen a game this dinamic, this big and also this great looking.

Another example is Farcry 3 the game looks great but is not as dinamic as Crysis 1, or Just Cause 2 on max settings, still this game looks beutiful with mods and stuff but is not dinamic.

One thing I hear, is that The order 1886 is using all its assets are using soft body physics, if thats true is going to be something very very interesting to see.

Personally, no, though they have been used on previous games.

Oppertunity mostly, as you will see over time after the consoles launch, a lot of the interactivity you will see going forward will bridge the gap between games console and mobile device, at first it will be things such as checking stats, buying software, managing content, but over time it will become a more integral part of the experience with games branching on to these devices.

Make no mistake about it, Modern xperia phones carrying playstation network branding such as the Z1, and the newer windows mobile phones are just the beginning.

how did you get into programming? would you reccomend it for some one curious about getting in to be a developer?

WII U // PC // 3ds XL // VITA

Since i'm not really sure where is the red line you can't cross, i'll ask some question and see where you can clarify some things up.

What about the theory in which third parties games would aim for parity on next gen console even if x is (on paper) more capable than y.

Do you work especially on 3d-graphics? Which API do you prefer? Is the current quality of the profilers good (No need to mention one specifically)? What's your eduation? How much do/did you on low-level optimization? Was it always worth the time spent?

dangerous questions ;)

Does the toolchain for Xbone help you with ESRAM? Are the move-engines transparent to the dev or do you have to fiddle with them manually?
