Square Enix wants to make a game that's better than FinalFantasy 7 before they remake it, so they might not even do a port of the game.  It'd be funny if they consider Final Fantasy 15 a better game than Final Fantasy 7 and then announce the remake for iOS.  I'd be pissed off, but I'd have to laugh.

This is cool. JRPG's work well on smartphones. It makes sense to port them to those devices whether you like it or not, though straight hd port woudl make sense too. I'll probably get 5 or 8 when it gets on sale... while also playing it in HD with my time machine ^_^.

It's ok, I don't care what games get ported to mobile. What I am angry at is the fact that they don't port these games to handhelds as well. I'm sure making Vita and 3DS ports wouldn't cost that much when done together and would add one more stream of income. I would get these game on Vita, just like I've bought all the FF games available on it. I won't buy them on smartphones, cause I get no fun from playing with 100% touch controls.
