He probably lived a fulfilling life. Dying at 85 is not that bad, we all have to go at some point. Regardless, it's a tragedy to have lost him. He'll be missed.

I always got the feeling Yamauchi loathed video games and all those who played them (well, he did say pretty much that once or twice).
