Only $100.

Should sell well in the West/Europe/Japan at that price-point.

$100 without the DualShock 3 controller.  $150 with it.

wait a minute, how the fuck does it stream games from the ps4 t the tv in the kid's room, I smell extra peripheral like some kind of usb stick with bluetooth or something

Bluetooth is only good for 30 feet.

I find it funny how both Nintendo and Sony destroyed the portability of their own handhelds. The 2DS is too big and bulky to fit into a pocket, and the Vita TV is for TVs only.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Remember you CAN use WIRED GIGABIT LAN (PS Vita TV has the ethernet port!)
USB port is charging controller and for use with wired controllers just as PS3 IMHO.
Time to take out again my arcade stick!

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!

Remember 3DS XL with circle pad pro to add some buttons and a stick, why couldn't include them already in the redesign?

PS Vita SLIM IS SLIMMER if you are interested in portability.

Sony is so bad at marketing handhelds that they gave up and turned the Vita into a home console?

Other than the cheap price, I still don't see the appeal. Do ppl really want a Vita home console when you can get PS4 or any of the other 2 consoles? The price is super cheap so maybe ppl will buy it, but if this happens it will hurt the sales of the handheld. Why pay 200$ for a handheld that only plays the exact same games that I already can play on my VitaTV for 100$? 200$ only to be able to play the same game Iv'e been playing on the bus, you will seriously need to have money to get rid of in order to think it's worth it.

Since this is the creation of a new home console at the expense of the handheld, I don't see the 3DS being affected by it.

This is the head scratcher.  I think they would have been smarter calling this a PS4 Extender, rather than equating it to the PS Vita.

Though the big problem with this is the fact that it doesn't fully support the Vita due to the lack of a touch pad, and that likely means it won't fully support the PS4 titles either.  The DualShock controller included with the $150 bundle is essentially a DS3.  If you can use a DS4 with it, and use the touch pad, that would mitigate the problem.

Another problem is the fact that there is no onboard storage, so each person who uses this will have to have their own memory card.  If you already own a PS Vita, cool you can just plug and play, if you don't then it's more money.  If you don't own a PS4, PS3, or PSV then you're looking at close to $200 just to get started with it.  At that price a Wii U becomes a viable option.

The nubs on the new Slim are interesting.  Wonder how they work/how well?  It doesn't look like they have much movement.

Reminds me of this

Not a bad idea but i will keep my regular Vita thanks

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

Based on the images/videos I can say the sticks on the slim ps vita are the same of the old one.
