My gaming PC:
  • AMD FX-8120 Processor 3.1GHz (8MB Cache)
  • 8GB SDRAM
  • 2TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive4 GB Solid State Drive
  • 8GB PC3-10600 DDR3
  • 2TB (7200RPM) SATA Hard Drive
  • AMD Radeon HD 7670

Now I'm not a hardware guy at all, but I do believe that lies somewhere in the middle between Xbxo 360 and Xbone,  maybe even closer to the latter. But.. 2TB HDD kills whatever the Xbone comes with I'm sure, not to mention I have a nice 1080p display. In other words, I don't think I'll miss out on too much with the next gen consoles if I decide to skip them, which I'm beginning to think I might.

drop a decent GPU in there and you could handily beat the XBone, your CPU would run circles around the console CPUs you would have more usable RAM etc.

This is rather interesting. It shows me that the next gen will actually boast gaming, even on the PC. As the baseline has been raised.

DirectX 11 has been out for a while since October 2009 with Windows 7 Launch. Nice to see half the people using it.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

The title doesn't fit with the content of his article completely but it's true that a lot of people still have 1GB video cards, the good news is, those are the only things they need to update in their computers unless they have laptops, drop about 400 bucks into it and they'd already have PCs stronger than upcoming consoles.

IMO the only people allowed to brag are people who actually have decent rigs, though I don't beg for exclusives since I have consoles anyways heh. I'm okay with Uncharted or The Last of Us not being on PC, the fact that they can focus on just 1 hardware means they have more time to make the game better in a more timely fashion and that's a good thing.

Sure, but there are a lot of console gamers that act a certian way. Would be pointless to lcaim "most" do, when you don't know most of them and/or you don't see a majority that act like that anywhere.

It's more like, his friends are idiots if they bitch about games exclusive to consoles when all they do is play MOBA all day and he's no better for using that sig.
