The mp portion of the game itself will make the game AAA and worth the hype. Only regions it can disappoint is possibly boring gameplay mechanics and story.

GTA usually is worth the hype. I thought GTAIV was worth the hype, even though many don't agree.

First of all you have to ask yourself what GTA 5 offers we didn't have before, 3 different chracters don't make up for it? It's just a big mix of all sorta things. GTA 4 was praised as the next comming of Jesus but didn't deliver at all. I love how everyone always bashes the industry for rehashing elements. But when Rockstar does it it's totally okay. The best game Rockstar ever did was RDR, amazing game. But even this game is somehow based on GTA. GTA just can't impress me anymore. Maybe it's just me.^^

I don't think this game can be boring. The sheer variety is incredible. It becomes more apparent when you read the preview.


I'm talking about the basic gunplay/cover system/driving/feel of the game being weak. GTA4 was unplayble for me without cheats, and from what i have seen in trailers the gunplay in 5 is meh.

Hard to argue with the sheer scope of GTA5.  The amount of effort, time, and money these studios put in is staggering.

Its not that gta5 many new things, it's that it offers many gameplay elements all in the same game all within an open world. Where it innovates really is in the multiplayer.

San Andreas offered as much as GTA 5 from the activites as far as I can see.

Next Gen has already started regardless of what Rockstar thinks.

But I really want to play this game but I am hoping they make the right decision and release it for the PS4/X1. I have way to many PS3/360 games to play now to add another in before my PS4 & X1 arrives, especially one that could consume a couple hundred hours of my time.

Rockstar, please make this for PS4/X1.
