I'd quit playing video games. Or at most, i'd wait for gta and Tes every couple years. Nintendo is the main reason I play at all. Everything else is filler.

They already have, several times. Or become something else.

Atari, Apogee, Quality Software, the old Electronic Arts, Origin (good ol'Lord British), etc. You move on, find other things.

Think of the people you hung around with 10 years ago. Are you still spending most of your time with the same people?

I'm a PC gamer, so... Not a problem I suppose, lots of "choice".
The platform can't really die as no single company controls it.

And even if they did, there are 2nd party studios like Naughty Dog or Quantic Dream that could simply leave Nintendo, looking for better (more powerful) hardware to work with.

Of course Nintendo. It's not like it's my second choice, but Sony is closely above.
