Ha ha ha, is that even a game?

At least I didn't say PS2 and Dance Dance revolution!

How about PS3 and singstar!

I really thought about getting a PS3 for Socery.  That first E3 reveal looked awesome!

I also almost got it for a blu-ray.  So I would put that as a system seller for the PS3.  Several of my friends did just that.

I did get it for blu-ray, no way was I going to pay over $1000 to play the blu-rays I already bought.

Sorcery was allright, bit repetitive and short and played more like a shooter for the first half. Mixing potions and making spell combinations when you unlock more spells was fun. Still even with move's low latency and precision, gesture recognition remains a troublesome selection method. Switching spells in a split second is better done with buttons.
The only move game that really wowed me was Tumble. Quite magical to be able to place things from the back by physically reaching around your virtual tower. And Pixeljunk 4 AM is a personal favorite, you can make some nice sounds with 2 moves after a bit of practice.

Otherwise I would have just stayed on my PC

I would believe you if you mentioned Rock 'n' Roll Climber. What a workout!

It's an actual thing!

For about an hour, you will sweat from the heat generated by pure rage while working out the controls. You will be expected to lean in various directions on the balance board to control your footholds, and reach with the Wiimote and Nunchuk to grab onto handholds. Be prepared for much in the way of horrible shivery feelings from the realistic bonecracking sounds and visual feedback of limbs bending in disgusting ways.

If you have the patience of Buddha, and you feel that you have mastered the controls, you may then seek to sweat some more by taking half an hour to climb 15 feet, for the sole purpose of playing a Gibson Flying V at the summit.*

Do this many more times until you have completed the game. Knowing that you have endured PHYSICAL and MENTAL anguish to complete a game with an insultingly simple concept, you will be able to claim your hardcore membership. The only thing harder than this is to sit through a cinematic game with a bullshit gameplay : storytelling ratio.

IT'S EXACTLY LIKE THE REAL THING. I HAVE DONE THIS.*

I've never bought a console for one or two specific games really. I guess I wouldn't have bought a Vita at launch if it hadn't Uncharted GA back then though.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

PSX : Crash Bandicoot 2
PS2 : Ratchet & Clank
XBOX : Jet Set Radio Future / Oddworld
PS3 : Kingdom Hearts 3 / FFvsXIII lol
Wii : Mario Galaxy / Fragile Dreams

Gameboy : Pokemon
DS : Final Fantasy III / Pokemon / there are too much good games on that onbe anyway
PSP : All the NIS remakes / Crisis Core
PSVita : Gravity rush / Freedom Wars to come

Wii - Wii Sports
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4
PSV - WipEout 2048 / LittleBigPlanet PS Vita / Gravity Rush

I got my PS1 bought for me; bought PS2 because it was the logical progression after PS1; bought GC because it was £30 with two bundled games and a controller and I thought "why not?"

Xbox: Halo
Xbox 360: bought it launchday, because I knew there will be a Halo on it.
Xbox One: Will buy it on launchday, because I know there will be a Halo on it.

PSOne: Fighting Force

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

GBC: Pokemon Blue
GBA: Pokemon Sapphire
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy
Wii U: NSMBU
