NeoGaf user "Dragonbane" has created a pretty interesting list detailing of What Sony's Studios and Partners working on?. Check out the list below, it gives us a clear picture of what all things and from whom we can expect to see in PS4's first year.

At E3 2013, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for SCE announced 20 first party PS4 titles will arrive in console's first year and out of these 20 titles 12 are brand new IP.

I believe Yoshida stated they have 30 games in developement in WWS, 20 to release during PS4's first year on the market, 12 new IPs and that would coincide with that list when you cross out studios that are not first party. He may be counting SOE as a part of WWS now. They also may be counting the independent dev studios who collaborate with XDev and are published by SCE.

Anyway great list, some projects to be announced that I am extremely eager to find out, namely ND game for PS4, Stig Asmussen's new IP, and Media Molecule's new game (very probable to be shown on Gamescom I believe).

Poor guy <hug> I think those games are as probable as Agent coming out :P 

Well maybe Sony will reboot Syphon Filter, there is a chance I think. Ninja Theory expressed interest in making Heavenly Sword 2, SCE didn't pick up the subject unfortunately, but if Santa Monica gives Kratos a rest, Sony may want to have an exclusive hack n' slash game. Eight Days...well this is a lost cause.

lol news just came in Take two has file two trademark registeration for Agent :D, so there is hope afterall :D

Interesting. Out of the 14 1st party studios*, 7 of them are working on multiple games.

*I don't count SOE, and I consider Guerilla Cambridge a seperate studio from GG. I'm also aware that this list lumps together Team ICO and Project Siren with Japan Studio and that makes sense to me.

The interesting thing about Japan Studio is that with the CAMP program, they can have several projects going on at once.

This breakdown is why drawing a conclusion from a PS4 vs. XO exclusives list is kind of meaningless at this point. There is so much content still unknown.
