I do hope that 10% performance boost is true. I do have to say though AC IV doesn't have bad aliasing at all...in fact, I haven't actually noticed any.
Phil Spencer Comments about Sony and Nintendo and what they can learn from them
Sony's commitment to franchises and developers of "new things and creative things" is an attribute that Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer admires, according to a recent interview with OXM.
Spencer pointed to Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream as an example and praised the company's dedication to franchises that aren't necessarily blockbuster sellers.
"I think that long-term commitment to franchises is important, where it's easy to pull off the Band-Aid and move onto the next thing [if it doesn't sell]," Spencer said. "I respect their 'stick-to-it-iveness'.
"I'll say, they've done a nice job with PS4 [...] When I think about their announcement, their clear focus on a customer, leading with the value proposition of what they're trying to do, staying true to a vision, I think they've done a nice job in how they defined the PS4."
As for Nintendo, Spencer considers the company's first-party content "an amazing asset."
"Their first party studios and IP can lead what they do as a company and the platforms are almost in service to the IP — not in a bad way. They have such iconic stories."

Phil Spencer is a cool guy, listened to his interview on Podcast Unlocked and he definitely knows what he's doing with the Xbox brand.

Sunset Overdrive Won't require Always Online but Will Benifit from the Cloud
Sunset Overdrive, the open world Xbox One exclusive from Insomniac Games, will not require an internet connection, though the studio stresses its cloud-based features are going to be worthwhile.
In an interview with Game Informer, Insomniac's Ted Price explained that while the cloud offers many benefits, the single-player game won't make use of it.
"Our intent is that you will be able to play the single-player without an online connection", he said, adding that playing online will still be beneficial. "The game will be updated with content we expect that all players will want. You won't be able to access that without an online connect.
"Some of the hardcore data collection, correlation, and translation that we expect to do is difficult and takes a lot of horsepower, and that is one aspect of the cloud that is attractive to us."
Price also gave his thoughts on the cloud in general. "When people say 'cloud' it's one of those broad terms that mean many things," he said. "How we use the cloud depends on the genre, depends on the audience, and it depends on the state of the hardware behind the cloud.
"We're learning that new opportunities and ideas are popping up every month when we discover how we can take aspects of the game offline [to the cloud]. We are going to be relying on heavy back-end services to churn through the data we get from players to understand what they're telling us and what they're doing in the game."
Last month, Price explained how the Xbox One would allow for quicker production cycles and timely content updates.
The first Sunset Overdrive trailer showed that it resembled Insomniac's initial intentions with its latest new title Fuse - using highly stylised characters involved in frantic combat.
