Tall skinny mario, He is the 2nd boy character you can have, Theres only two =P Blue and Red suit like Mario aswell and the bomber enemy and the big head that crushes you is in the background Lol

2 Boy Humans and 2 Girl humans i should point out, You can play as others though like trolls, fish, birds etc.

lol I'm like one of the very few people that haven't really played or care for Mario 64. Looks a lot like Vyse to me, or maybe I'm crazy xD Someone should totally make something SoA related though! lol

yo-john, a mod here, has this game. You should ask him, or he could see this post. I have the game, but haven't played yet and am not familiar with those technical terms. I wouldn't be the best person to give you a credible answer.


Sorry, I should have explained what aliasing is. Aliasing is jagged edges on lines in video games. Anti-aliasing is a process used to smooth out those lines. This picture highlights the difference that anti-aliasing makes: 

 

Aliasing is most noticeable along thin lines like chain link fencing, power lines, and cables as is evidenced by the jagged lines along the cables in that picture.

Personally I can't stand aliasing in games, I'd rather have anti-aliasing than 1080p or 60fps, but so far many developers this generation are going for 1080p and/or 60fps because they're next-gen catch terms, but they're doing it at the cost of no anti-aliasing in some cases. I'm just wondering if Turn 10 sacrificed anti-aliasing for 1080p/60fps, because in some of those youtube videos I'm seeing lots of aliasing, in others I'm seeing very little aliasing, so I'm trying to find out which of those videos is the closest to the actual game.

To answer your original question it really depends on what track you are (they have varying amounts of Aliasing). But overall it usually ranges between moderate and extreme. It is annoying at times but overall the game still looks very good.

Shikamaru gave me a nice topic question. What other 7th gen game would you like to see re-released on One? Tomb Raider and Legends are the only ones that come to mind as of now. Maybe you missed out of the game and would like to play it on your new console. Or, you may want to double dip.
