Don't know only played the XBLA version since it has more achievements then thropies plus it has avatar rewards which is always a nice little bonus for any 360 game.

I would actually try getting into the game if they added Ryo Hazuki as a playable character.

I will totally buy an HD collection just to support the series. I always regreted selling my Xbox copy.

Definitly would like to see Shenmue 3, but i dont believe SEGA can make it by themselves. Unless the Yakuza team decides to make it... still i dont see it happening without partner support. Maybe Sony or Nintendo.

I doubt that it's Shenmue 3. Hopefully it has to do with HD remasters.

On a side note, I think that Shenmue 3 would be super awesome on the Xbox One. While I am not much of a Kinect fan, I think that Shenmue 3 could actually integrate it quite nicely. For example, wouldn't it be cool to have Kinect events instead of QuickTime events. Like doing karate moves and such for special scenes. Theres also the odd jobs that would also be more enjoyable with Kinect interactivity.

Ehhh I really don't care for the avatars, but since you mentioned the lack of trophies to achievements I find that very odd. I guess I'd have to consider it mainly as just a handheld game I could enjoy since my Dreamcast days.

I loved Shen Mue, but I don't really want a sequel. Sega does not have the talent to create such a game any more.

Wonder if the Hd remakes would have to stick with Microsoft or could they post the game on every console? Why was Shenmue 2 Xbox only in NA?
